I wake up when the sun rises, my favourite time to get up, have breakfast and go for a walk.
The colours this morning.
Strolling down Karl-Marx-Allee.
For a visit at Father Carpenter Coffee Brewers.
A flat white for me, haven't had one in a long time as my current addiction is espresso macchiato.
Bye bye Johan, going up to Prenzlauer Berg to his new job.
And I took a stroll back home.
Passing by my favourite sign.
And a school.
This reminds me that it's asparagus season soon.
Looking forward to a glass of wine in the sun this Spring.
This street is still one of my favourite ones.
The details :*
(I got a new battery for my camera, yay!)
I've been thinking a lot about Instagram and blogs. What I love so much about blogs is the way you can tell a story with more than one picture in a post if you know what I mean.
This is where I blog. And crochet most of the time.
This is our bedroom.
Knitting I don't know what. We'll see :)
Started February with a Monday and Tuesday off, took a Drive Now and drove around the city for a few hours. Lovely!
Every year on February 5 I celebrate that I fell in love with Johan. 10 years ago he bought me my first Guinness. 10 years! I also made some more buttcrack characters. Still 2 left :)
Riding to Kreuzberg and spent a morning at Café 9.
Speed-crocheted a grannysquare blanket and met Johan outside of his old work.
This sushi was delicious, from Com Á.
Spent a Sunday walking around the city, look at that light!
Crochet, crochet, crochet.
Mornings. I love them. Especially now that the sun is out before 7 in the morning. I'm up as well!
Love our doors. And cheese.
And plopp! Johan quit his job and slept.
We took more long walks and saw peacock feathers on the canal.
Home sweet home. After a whole winter of truly disliking to be at home in the evenings we finally made peace together and I love it here again.
Berlin tiles and the finished blanket :)
Köpenicker Strasse has its truly beautiful parts. And an era has come to an end - those prints will no longer be available in my shop. You can still buy some of my prints at Rum för papper in Gothenburg, Sweden. I'm not sure if they deliver outside of Sweden though.
Hello! It's March and I am so excited for this Spring!
Took a stroll around the hood this morning.
To have a celebratory espresso macchiato at Silo with Johan who starts a new job today, yay!
Books, I can't live without them.
On my way home I was enjoying the sun.
And the feeling of Spring coming.
Those details are pretty.
So are these.
I am changing some things in my life at the moment and it feels good. Says the lady who loves changes.
Pic 1. Detail from a painting my niece gave me for xmas a few years ago.
Pic 2. My desk is overflooded with yarn.
Thank you so much for buying prints on the LAST CHANCE offer in the shop. The offer lasts until this week ends and then it's bye bye to those good old prints :)
Happy weekend! x
